JMI: The Journal of Music in Ireland was founded in 2000 by Toner Quinn, and recently made a transition to an online-only publication, The Journal of Music. It features articles, reviews and news on all kinds of musical events, people, publications and recordings.

A project by Deirdre Ní Chonghaile on the songs of the Aran Islands. Winner of the "Best [bilingual] Blog in the Irish Language" award for 2013, Deirdre seeks to publish an edition of songs composed in Aran, and ultimately to "enable the people of Aran to create easy access to these endangered songs, to preserve them, and to present them to communities beyond Aran".
