    As one of the leading sites for breaking financial news, investor tools and data, Bloomberg.com is the global standard for business information.
  • Business Source Complete 
    Provides bibliographic and full text content, including indexing and abstracts for scholarly business journals back as far as 1886 and full text journal articles in all disciplines of business, including marketing, management, MIS, POM, accounting, finance and economics. Notable for providing full text access to the Harvard Business Review. The database full text content includes financial data, books, monographs, major reference works, book digests, conference proceedings, case studies, investment research reports, industry reports, market research reports, country reports, company profiles, SWOT analyses and more.
  • Capital IQ

    **Mode of access: Available only on select machines in the Mahaffey Business Library. Ask staff for assistance.
    Includes profiles and data on public and private companies, investment firms, capital transactions, and people. It can be used for complex financial statement analysis, comparables analysis, sector analysis, and charting. Screening capabilities are available.

  • CCH Internet Tax Research Network
    Provides comprehensive U.S. federal and state tax information, including tax codes, regulations, court cases, IRS publications, editorial commentary and explanation.
  • Compact D/SEC
    ***Mode of access: CD-ROMs that are available at the Mahaffey Business Library
    Coverage: 1988-Dec. 2001
    Provides business and financial information on public companies in the U.S. (domestic and foreign companies listed on national, regional and over-the-counter U.S. stock exchanges). Up to 15 years of annual and quarterly financial statement data from SEC filings as well as company-supplied Annual Reports to Shareholders and other publicly available reports.

    Provides international financial, economic, stock market and company data, including coverage of equities, stock market and bond indices, economic statistics, foreign exchange rates, interest rates, fixed income instruments and derivatives. Excel add-in is available for downloading data.

    Forrester's research publications analyze a broad range of technology areas such as new media, computing, software, networking, telecommunications and the Internet, and project how technology trends will affect businesses, consumers, and society. Forrester reports include up-to-date industry statistics, as well as illustrative graphs and charts. User must set up an individual account in Forrester.

  • GuideStar Nonprofit Compensation Report
    Coverage: 2008-
    Reviews key employee compensation practices at charitable nonprofit organizations. Covers positions in thousands of tax-exempt organizations that file Form 990 with the IRS.
