In searching for art opportunities, no substitute exists for networking. Meeting with the art industry career coach in the Career Center is the best place to start for a clear and concise game plan on finding and applying for opportunities. Interview Preparation

Preparing for an interview varies greatly by each sub set and even more so by job function. Visual arts positions, for instance, will most likely require a portfolio of your work. Conducting research on the organization you are seeking opportunities with and knowing the value of your past benefits is a standard place to start. It’s important you reach out to your contact to determine the specific responsibilities of the role you are seeking.
