What is the discount?

The Read and Publish agreement between the University of Notre Dame and the Institute of Physics waives article processing charges (APCs) at 100% for qualifying journals for papers/special issue papers; reviews and/or letters.

Which licenses are available?

Corresponding authors who submit articles under the IOP-University of Notre Dame Read and Publish agreement will have their work published under a CC-BY Creative Commons license, the standard gold open access license for IOP journals. The only exception is for the journals of The Electrochemical Society, which offer a choice of CC-BY or CC-BY-NC-ND.

The University of Notre Dame has a transformative “Read & Publish” agreement with IOP which covers access to IOP journals and payments for open access publication of University of Notre Dame research in specific IOP journals.
