Global Affairs

Overview of Global Affairs

Global Affairs is an inter-, multi-, trans- or cross-disciplinary discipline.  Global Affairs at Notre Dame is particularly concerned with Strategic Peacebuilding and Sustainable, Integral Human Development informed by Catholic Social Teachings.  Thus, it is unapologetically normative not merely descriptive.  It includes methodologies and insights from most of the social sciences, many of the humanities plus the arts, law, business, science and engineering.
