Hesburgh Libraries are committed to academic excellence and in doing so we seek to enhance your scholarly research. CurateND, the institutional repository for the University of Notre Dame, illuminates the University’s research mission.
CurateND provides a strong digital infrastructure for presenting your research and associated data, scholarly papers, presentations, and other works so they can be shared and discovered through an interconnected digital community. This elevates your work as faculty, students, departments, centers, and institutes, and strengthens Notre Dame’s impact in the global scholarly community.
► Materials deposited into CurateND are managed by data curators at the Hesburgh Libraries. Our professional team reviews all deposits before they are published to ensure your content is Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR).
► You have the ability to deposit materials and describe your materials.
► You can also control access levels (Public, Embargo, University of Notre Dame, or Private) for both the content's record and the content itself. Learn more about Access and Discovery
► CurateND provides persistent Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs). DOIs ensure a persistent online location for your work.
► Depositors will be required to log in with their NetID and create an account. We encourage users to create an ORCiD profile. An ORCiD is similar to a DOI for yourself — as a professional. It creates a persistent online presence for your research and scholarly contributions, which can be added to as you build your portfolio.
► All deposited items should be in completed form; descriptive information can be updated after deposit, and additional files can be uploaded as necessary. Depositors are responsible for submitting appropriate descriptive metadata at the time of deposit of their content.
