Playing Well With Others

  1. Be mindful of how much time you spend on the Bloomberg Terminal. Terminal access is limited, and we want to be sure to share the wealth of Bloomberg access with other students and faculty members.

  2. Be sure to sign out of your session once finished to ensure that terminals are open for other users.

  3. Be aware that there may be brief periods in which the Bloomberg Terminal is inaccessible to ensure its availability for a class session.

  4. Be aware that our remote access option for the Bloomberg Terminal is being temporarily provided to us by Bloomberg as part of their COVID-19 access contingency, and its policies are subject to change as the pandemic situation develops.

Download the Citrix Receiver

  1. In order to download data while using Bloomberg Anywhere, you need to have the Citrix Receiver installed on your computer. Go here to download the Citrix Receiver. Do this before attempting to login to Bloomberg Anywhere.

  2. One of the last steps in downloading the Citrix Receiver asks you about creating an account. You can skip this step. It's not necessary.

  3. Check out the Bloomberg Anywhere Help page. It will answer most questions you might have about system requirements based on your device, operating system, browser, etc.

  4. Unfortunately, neither Pete, Michael, or Kim are available to help troubleshoot issues with installing the Citrix Receiver. See above for help.
