Architecture - Remote Resources - Rome

This guide is designed to help architecture students and faculty access resources remotely.

Using the Rome Library Catalog

The Rome Global Gateway Library Catalog is separate from the Hesburgh Libraries Catalog. It only displays items physically located in Rome.

A keyword search will tell you what is available in Rome.

You may search the Hesburgh Libraries catalog for items not available in Rome. We cannot send books from campus to Rome, but we are able to scan and send a chapter or section to you. To request a chapter or book section (less than 10% of the book) please logon to InterLibrary Loan/Document Delivery.

  • InterLibrary Loan (This link opens in a new window)
  • Interlibrary loan and document delivery services require a NetID.
  • You can request copies of articles or book chapters, which will be delivered via email.
  • Please do not request whole books or other physical items. We can’t send them to you.
  • It is important in the notes field to state that you are a ND student/faculty studying in Rome

If there is a book you would like added to the Rome Library please contact Jennifer Parker
