A guide to collections and databases in the Hesburgh Libraries and elsewhere, for research on  the conflict in Northern Ireland (the 'Troubles'), and the Peace Process. 

Knowing about specific collections will make it easier to negotiate the large, dispersed and diverse collections such as microfilmed newspapers, collections of political pamphlets and posters, online databases, and collections of film and news footage.

For research on the conflict in Northern Ireland, we are indebted to Dr. Martin Melaugh and Ulster University for the CAIN Archive. CAIN  - Conflict and Politics in Northern Ireland contains a large number of documents on the Conflict, as well as databases, bibliographies and other guides to further research. Note that documents included in the CAIN Archive are under copyright.
