What to Do When Leaving the University

  • Microform and media materials.
  • Equipment such as headphones, phone chargers, etc.
  • Carrel keys. (All materials should be removed from your carrel.)
  • Lokmobile and assigned key.

Check your library account for outstanding materials.

  • Login at library.nd.edu and view “My Account”
  • Contact Hesburgh Library Circulation to initiate a search if items you believe you have returned are still on your library account. See the Appeals Process of our Overdue and Lost Policies"

Alumni Borrowing Privileges

  • If you are staying on campus after graduation with a research or employment position and you wish to have library borrowing privileges, your department must initiate the request through the Campus Card Office.
  • Library borrowing privileges will be granted, by request, to alumni living within 50 miles of the University. Contact Hesburgh Library Circulation to initiate a request for a Guest Borrower Card. The card is not immediately available and may take up to 14 business days to process. Applicants are notified by email when the card is ready for pickup.
