The NEH Scholarly Editions Project

The Scholarly Editions and Translations grant program, an initiative of The National Endowment for Humanities (NEH) (an independent federal agency dedicated to the ongoing and tangible support of research, education, and preservation of the humanities), provides grants to collaborative teams who are "editing, annotating, and translating foundational humanities texts that are vital to generating new scholarship but are inaccessible or only available in inadequate editions or translations" ("Notice of Funding Opportunity, 1). Award recipients may use grant funding for editorial work, travel, digital editions, manuscript collection, creation of indices, translations, etc. Editions may be print, digital, or both.

The Wollstonecraft Edition Project, a collaborative project of Nancy Johnson and Eileen M. Hunt, is a recipient of this grant.
