Overview

Finding music items in the library can be challenging, but once you learn some basic techniques it becomes much easier. Once you find what you’re looking for you normally stop thinking about how you found it, but in the library, we’re always thinking about how to find better things faster. If you use these tips in your library searches, you may save yourself a lot of time and might find better quality items. The best search retrieves the most relevant results and the least false hits. Librarians love a good search; here are some of our favorite searching tricks.
