Using OneSearch & ND Catalog
An Irish1Card is required to check out any materials from the libraries on the Notre Dame campus or from the Rome Library.
Logging in to the OneSearch and ND Catalog requires an Irish1Card. It is not necessary to log in to OneSearch or the ND Catalog to search or link to the vast majority of our electronic resources. Affiliates with a NetID can access full OneSearch results using this proxied OneSearch link. If you don’t have an Irish1Card, ignore the banner asking you to log in.
It is only necessary to log in to request loans for physical books or to renew your loans.
If you have an old Notre Dame ID card (not Irish1Card), it no longer works in the catalog.
