Hesburgh Libraries Proxy Bookmarklet

Use the Hesburgh Libraries Proxy Bookmarklet to ensure access to online content licensed by the Hesburgh Libraries.

If you are trying to access content on a site that requires licensed access, simply click on the the Hesburgh Libraries proxy bookmarklet to convert the URL to a proxy URL. A proxy URL is a URL with added text that tells the website that you're a Notre Dame affiliate who has access to that resource.  Note: The bookmarklet works with content that the Hesburgh Libraries has purchased or subscribed to. If you move from one website to another, you may have to use the bookmarklet again to recreate a proxied URL. If you get an error message, or if you have questions, please contact us.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Click-and-drag this link to the bookmarks bar at the top of your browser:

2. Click on the bookmarklet to access your content by reloading the page with a proxy-linked URL. You may be prompted to log in with your NetID and password, if you haven't recently logged in.
