8:00 am Participant Registration Opens

Hackathon teams may be made up of 2-4 people. Team registration opens Mar 1 and closes April 16 at 7pm.

Friday, April 16

7:00 pm Registration Closes

All participants must have registered online by 7:00 pm.

Individual participants Register here for the Hackathon.

7:00 - 8:00 pm Hackathon Orientation

All team members must attend the Hackathon orientation which will take place on Zoom.

Login to the Orientation Zoom Room.

8:00 pm Hackathon officially begins

Teams may begin working on their projects after the orientation ends.

Team Roster and Registration Form Due

Registration
Choose 1 member from your team to complete the Team Roster and Registration Form. Your team must complete the form by noon to avoid disqualification.

Assistance with Video Presentations
If you are new to working with video, we recommend you take advantage of the workshops provided on creating and uploading your presentation video during the first week.

Evaluation Survey Opens—Available until 9:00 am on Saturday, May 1

All participants, please complete the Hackathon Evaluation Survey by Saturday, May 1, at 9:00 am in order to be eligible to win 1 of 10 raffle prizes that will be awarded while the judges confer during the viewing party.

Upload Your Video and Project Data to our Google Drive

Project Data
Each team should have gathered the data requested in the Hackathon Presentation Brief.

Uploading Your Presentation Video
All teams should upload their presentation video and project data using our Presentation Video Upload Form. Teams may upload 1 video file of up to 10 GB.

Saturday, May 1

All teams please ensure your team member roster, project title, and description are up-to-date in the presentation lineup. Email (hesburgh-library-hackathon-list@nd.edu) or Slack the Hackathon event chairs immediately if any information has changed.

Hackathon Survey
All participants, please ensure you have completed the Hackathon Evaluation Survey by 9:00 am today to be eligible for the raffle event.

Presentation Viewing, Judging and Raffle

All presentation videos will be screened virtually for participants. Judges will view and judge presentations in a separate zoom room.

All participants who complete the evaluation survey by the deadline are eligible for entry into the raffle for 1 of 10 prizes. View our list of prizes. (The survey will be sent via email from Qualtrics.)

2:00 pm

Winners Announced

Judges will announce results at 2 pm.
