Company Financials

The resources recommended on this page provide access to financial data surrounding public companies. These include SEC filings including annual reports and 10-k/10q's where available.

Recommended Resources

The resources on this page provide access to data related to the financials of private companies. When compared to public companies, data about private companies is much more limited. Private companies are not held to the same filing standards under the SEC as publicly traded companies, and due to this, certain data fields may be unavailable depending on the company. In addition to the resources recommended below, it is recommended to access the private company of interest's website to see if they publish any financial data themselves for the purpose of transparency, and possibly make use of news resources to glean information on the private company from more journalistic reporting.

Nonprofits generally maintain a tax exemption status by fulfilling a set of criteria outlined by the IRS. They do not generally turn a profit, but they do provide information with regard to their operating costs and cash flow relating their organization. Certain industries, such as hospitals, have greater representation in the nonprofit industry. Overall, nonprofits usually provide less granular data pertaining to their finances due to the differences in their regulatory reporting requirements.
