Below is a list of online resources that provide current access to MAJOR newspaper in the United States. Unless otherwise noted, they provide text only, no images or original formatting.
In general, Factiva and Nexis Uni are good places to start when looking for current and recent newspaper coverage. Both aggregators include US and non-US papers, although they do not hold all newspapers. To check by newspaper title, see instructions in the "Newspapers by Title" section.
Access World News Research Collection is a new newspaper database that offers current and recent coverage for hundreds of US and non-US news sources.
The library also subscribes to a selection of US and international print newspapers. They are available to browse on the second floor.

The library holds current issues in print of several dozen major US and international newspapers in the Current Periodicals Collection on the first floor outside the entrance to the Holtz Grand Reading Room. Titles include (this is not a complete list):
The library also holds an important collection of current US Catholic newspapers. They are located in the lower level, in current periodicals Catholic newspapers.
